great picture--how did you get so close and stay in focus? I have lots of flower pictures, but haven't put many of them on my blog yet.

I was able to get close and stay somewhat in focus through trial and error with the macro setting on the camera I'm using(Canon 520A). Whichever digital camera you're using, try pressing the shutter halfway to see if the autofocus can capture the subject as closely as you'd like (the viewfinder should give a decent preview of the shot while the shutter is depressed halfway). If you're still too close, just try backing up an inch at time until you're as close as you can get while maintaining focus. Also, I've noticed that I can get closer shots of wide, flat flowers rather than small or deep blossoms. For example, I can get closer in focus to a daisy than a tomato blossom.
